These were just what I thought they would be, "True" colored glass - "not a coating that will wear off". Fabulous purchase, so this is a case of: You DO get what you pay for. Why on earth would anyone order the cheaper glass sets after reading that the coating melts off ? Also - They are a large size, but not too big, and very heavy glass, and a bit bottom heavy. If you bang into one of them, it will not knock over, it will simply slide aross the table. They are nicely textured and totally medieval colors. These belong at long wooden table in a castle! LUV them. I wanted to see them first, and I am impressed - I will be buying a second set. Read more

These glasses are great. They’re sturdy, easy to grip and clean, and add a nice pop of color to the table. My only complaint is the size, I wish they held more liquid. I use mine as my daily water glass and I have to refill it often. Read more
