Really great socks, but even though I wear a men's size 9 wide shoe, I had to give the 6-12.5 socks to my son and order the 12-17 for myself because these tend to run smaller than the crew socks and they were too tight. If you are like me and for some reason cannot wear polyester socks because they irritate your foot, this is the best your going to do for a quarter sock. Cotton/Nylon I'm fine with, I'm pretty sure the 3% other fibers is polyester. Lands End makes a quarter sock with cotton but they too added cheap polyester. I kind of like these better as they are softer, The socks listed as 100% are full of you know what, What happened to go old cotton socks? Costs. Are they comfortable, pretty much. They are very soft. I can't attest to durability at this time, talk to me in a year. One of the questions was would I wear them to the gym, IDK, I still wear the Lands End and put these on after. I bought these after being burned by Goldtoe's changes over the last couple of years. Talk about an upgrade, wow! These socks are fantastic. They're very well made, fit perfectly, soft, feel great and don't shrink providing you follow the laundering instructions (cold wash/cool dry). I will buy these again. Read more
