Why did you pick this product vs others?: I really appreciate this PolyFit vest. I must confess that I do not like vests and other weighted accessories that are filled with sand or metallic pellets. I also didn’t want to get a vest for which the weight could not be adjusted. I like the fact that this best has solid metallic bars that slide into the pockets. It makes the vest weight adjustable. The Velcro strap system makes it possible to enjoy a tight fit of the vest so that the weights are securely held in place and not flapping and swaying around all over the place while you’re wearing the vest. If there were any adjustment I would make to this fine product, I might engineer it so that the head opening was a little bit larger. And I might include additional padding for the shoulders. But the poly fit vest is a quality product and is durable. I selected it after looking at a great number of other similar products and I would select this one again. Read more
The media could not be loaded. I’ve tried a few different weighted vests, and this one is by far my favorite. I use it mainly for hiking—not intense workouts—and it’s been perfect for that. What I love most is that I’m not stuck with one weight. The removable weight bars make it super easy to adjust depending on how much of a challenge I want that day. It’s also really comfortable and doesn’t dig in or feel bulky, even on longer hikes. Another big plus: it’s one size fits all, so if my husband ever wants to use it, he can. We don’t need two separate vests, which is super convenient. If you’re looking for a well-made, flexible vest that works for different fitness levels and body types, this is a great pick. Had an older 50lb vest but it was one of those with all the little bags of sand and it was long almost going to my waist. Upgraded to this to have a vest that was more functional with workouts and allowed more mobility. Love this vest so much more. It fits great, has enough padding, and stays snug and doesn't chafe. Really happy with the purchase and since its more functional, I've been able to wear a weight vest for more of my workouts. Just thrilled and would recommend. Read more
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Like others, I started out with a cheaper brand, Zelus, only 12 pounds. Loved it but it was too light so I decided to go all in and get a heavy duty, name brand - and wasn't wrong with this one. It's great being able to adjust the weight with 16 iron bars, each 2.3 pounds. I'm up to 16 pounds this week. The unused pouches are great for holding your pepper spray, extra pistol magazine, and tourniquet if you're the prepared type.... Highly recommend! Read more

Training for Army enlistment. High quality. Worth the money. Comfortable. Just wish it had some compartments to store a phone or strap on a water bottle. Weights can be added or removed. I'm 150lbs, too skinny to buckle it on but the Velcro works well to hold it in place. Read more
