I am 5'2", 125lbs. I ordered these pants in a small and they fit great. They do stretch a bit as you wear them and then shrink again when washed and dried. They are SUPER comfy, stretchy in every direction, and not so thin that you can see through them. I have them in the solid black and also in the black and white flower design (the flower design has faded quite a bit). Because the top is a very soft wide waistband, they should fit a variety of heights. I wear them with the waist band folded over and they touch the ground around my ankles, but aren't ridiculously long. I had a girlfriend unexpectedly stay over who is quite a bit (several inches) taller than me and she borrowed a pair to wear to bed, and with the waist band not folded over they fit her as well. A little more light weight than I hoped for. The fabric is a light knit. Still they aren’t the shinny see through knit like some of the other brands. They are very comfortable and not too hugging which I prefer. I wanted big flowing pants. I got a different type on here and they were see through shinny and tight through the knees. Not tight to the point of pain of course but snug and hugging. I think people want these so they flow. These do that. But the size according to measurements and fit as expected. LOVE THESE PANTS!! They are just what i wanted! They are so comfortable and fit great except in the length, which they are super long...Even with 4 in heels! Regardless, I love them! Would order again, possibly in a size smaller, but that might be too tight, I'd rather have them hemmed than be the right length and be too tight, I would be uncomfortable then! I'm glad I got a large because after I washed them they shrank about 5 inches!! Now they are almost just right, unfortunately I didn't notice when i got them but they came with a hole in them, right in the middle of the fabric, not on a seam or something where its easy to fix...so for that i'm a bit disappointed. I'm normally a 3x or size 24, I was hesitant to get these in a 2x knowing that the material would be thin, because many of the reviews said to size down but I'm glad I did because they fit perfectly! I got the 2x in the charcoal color. They are a very pretty dark gray and feel so nice and comfortable even after washing. I did not put them in the dryer as the instructions on the label specify not to. I imagine they would shrink considerably which I don't want as the length is, well about 2 inches too long, but I don't want to risk them shrinking past that 2 inches as another reviewer had said they shrank about 4 inches after using the dryer. The downside of these very comfortable and flattering lounge pants are that they continually slide down all day and if you're wearing a loose top they will reveal the goods if you are carrying anything you can't let go of to catch your pants at a moments notice, even with the fold over part left unfolded. I've considered sizing down another size but I can tell that if I did the seams wouldn't sit right on my big thighs so if you have smaller legs, then yes order two sizes down but if you're pretty well distributed as I am then one size down is all you need. Would I recommend buying them.... yes. They are light weight, flattering, soft, and comfortable I just wouldn't recommend wearing them to work as I had unless you never carry things at your job so your hands are free to guard your pants! I just received 1 pair of the solid black pants yesterday, I tried it on real quick, and I didn't want to take it off! So, I washed it on cold, immediately removed from washer, placed it in the dryer (delicate/gentle cycle) with a few other items that were made with similar fabrics for JUST 20 MINUTES, then let it hang dry the rest of the way. This is my usual routine for items like that. Anyway, once it was dry, I changed my clothes just so I can get them back on! It's so comfortable and feels so smooth! Another great thing about it is that I can wear it at home just to lounge and sleep in or I could see myself wearing it out with sandals, flip-flops, or flats and with a 3/4 or a long sleeve basic, layered, or wrap top. Even though I can't wear high heels, I bet it would look great with short or tall high heels or boots. So far, I think this is worth the $20 I spent! After I have these washed more than once & I wear it for a few times and if I notice anything bad about it, I will update this comment. Read more
Kind of a drag - I will wear them around the house if I'm lounging and not moving much. Otherwise they aren't really good for anything else. There are several issues with these pants, even though I am aware they are mostly Rayon, which does shrink and loses it's shape - so why make these pants out of Rayon?? There's just not enough Polyester in them to keep their shape. They are too big or they lose shape immediately after you wash them (even cold and low, hang dry). The top part almost has no elasticity to it, so you end up "loosing your pants", yes, they fall down, when you walk or go from sitting to standing or walking. And they are so soft, which is the wonderful part, that you don't even realize you are losing your pants because you don't really feel them slide down until it's almost too late. I would not buy them again. Very disappointed. Other Popana products, such as the tops, I've really liked and use a lot. However, the prints fade when washed, even in cold water. For inexpensive, comfortable and super soft tops, I like them a lot. I just don't expect them to last due to the fading. The pants are just not worth purchasing at all. Read more
