I like Popilush, but this dress was a bit of a torture chamber. I sized up twice to an XL to have enough room to maneuver and achieve the desired length. Although the design is cute, getting into this thing was nearly impossible. Once I did get it on, it was itchy, uncomfortable, and hot. Taking it off was akin to a prison break. Fit and Sizing Issues The primary concern is the dress's fit. It is a struggle to get in and out of this dress, particularly due to a stubborn side zipper. It is also not true to size. 99% of my amazon purchases are XL and this runs small in my book. Design and Execution The concept of the dress is appealing but the execution fell short. I love the idea of combining a cooling fabric with built-in shapewear for a flattering look, but hidden hooks, and strap fittings mean that the dress is not user-friendly without help. Overall Impression In summary, while the Popilush BlueTag Cooling Ruched Dress has the potential to be a stunning addition to a summer wardrobe, the practical experience of wearing it is marred by fit issues and dressing challenges.
