I think the strength of material is meant for periods' time, but I just made it my regular use. I am 5'9 fluctuate from 140 to 150 pounds, the Medium works for me in either case. It does stretch out somewhat after the day of wear and shrinks back after wash. It does wash well. I've been using only these for over a year and love them.
