I love that this design n concept has no filter. There was no manual and i couldn't understand where to put the ice. My husband took one look and said oh, you fill the borders of that plastic insert with water n freeze then as you use it the ice starts melting slowly dripping down into the reservoir and you can put water at the bottom through the mouth opening. At first I filled up the water too high and after 2 hrs I poured out some water. The 2nd time I used it, I only filled the bottom to half way full. The ice took a few hours to freeze and from there was so easy to assemble and power on. Insert the ice, put the lid back on , fill the bottom halfway full of cold water. Press power and set your speed and see if you want lights or not which is the last 2 buttons. I tried it on low and over 4.5 ft away could feel it as we were having lunch at the kitchen counter. Next use was in the living room. But this time I needed an adaptor. When I was at the counter I had a usb adapter unit for that outlet. Last try was in the theater where I got to put it on medium and high and it has power. The higher the power the quicker the ice melts. I used it for 2 hours plenty of ice then 4 hrs and maybe 70% ice was melted just some at the top left. Frozen it again and used it for several more hours in the theater. Only con is after ice melts, you have to wait again for ice to freeze before next use. Another con is the front grate is not adjustable so I can't turn it pointing more up or down. It is fixed leveled. So depending on the height of your counter or table, you want to be sure you have the correct height based on where you are sitting so you get best air and cooling sensation. I love the handle for transporting to another room. So affordable and truly makes the room or you feel cooler. So much better than a fan. Really refreshing. Read more

This produce is very light and portable, and generally speaking feels like something of a cheaper product that won’t last the longest. But, it’s a nice enough basic little fan to have just a couple of feet away from you. However, adding cold water to the bottom compartment was a game changer! Instantly notice how much cooler it gets. The instructions are kind of just a step above useless, but it’ll tell you what you need to know cause this product is not complex. There is a spout to drain the water that works well, though it won’t really drain all the water on its own. The USB is shorter than ideal, but it’s still a meter in length. I can’t say I’d want to spend $35 + tax on this thing, but short of knowing its long term functionality this does provide very nice cool air (so long as it’s not too far away I’d guess). Read more
