We hang out in our garage a bit. Unfortunately there’s no heating/cooling in there so we use a heater when we’re in there in the winter and just roast in the summer. This arrived just in time to keep us cool today! Easy to set up and use, just fill up with water and ice and power it up. it’s perfect for the moments we’re in there and it’s easy to focus it on a small area and increased comfort for the moments we’re there. This system is light, so refilling is easy and convenient. Pros: portable, quiet, coils the air coming out of it quickly. Con: you’ll need a good usb power source. This didn’t come with one and the typical phone charger doesn’t quite meet power requirement. Not really a con: I live in a desert so the water tank evaporates out quickly. So I ordered one May 24, 2024 first day it was here it only worked 20 minutes. I ordered a replacement same day. It worked great until today (June 24, 2024) and would not power on. It had the light for power but would not come on (same thing the first one did after 20 minutes). I tried different plugs, charging blocks, and cords but still only red power light and a beep when I tried to power on. I thought maybe it needed to be cleaned and left to dry (first I emptied both tanks and let dry a few hours still the same, so I emptied tanks again and was rinsing the top tank out in kitchen sink when a round piece of plastic came out of it that didn't appear to be broken off and yes my water pressure is not very strong and it wasn't aimed at the area the piece came from when it came out) but still not working. I really liked it when it was working and was beginning to think the first one was just a lemon until today. Sorry to say I will not buy another like this one as much as I thought it was a great design with 2 tanks and size. Read more
Bought this for my car because my car AC died but with 100 degrees plus weather, it just blows hot air (even with ice water). It's portable but it spills water everywhere. It has to be plugged in to work, it's not wireless. Works well indoor at night on bedstand if your house isn't so hot (like around 80-85 degrees). I like the light and features. It would be good to use for extra cool off but don't depend solely on it to keep you cool. Read more
The machine works correctly and cools the room a few degrees. It’s light weight and easy to operate. As long as the machine is blowing directly in your face on the highest setting it’s wonderful. What I don’t like is that it doesn’t cool off the room in its entirety. It does little more than a fan with a bowl of ice in front of it. In my opinion it’s over priced for what it does. The media could not be loaded. Bought this with low expectations. I have stayed away from the " evaprotive" cooling ACs because I was concerned about water dripping on furniture, noise and possible mold issues down the line. This little unit has absolutely changed my mind! I've used it twice so far, and both times I have been impressed. No drips at all. The way they constructed the machine is pretty smart to take care of that and any unfounded mold issues i was concerned about. Its literally a very light mist, you can't even feel the wet. Even with the small amount of water used it works really great! I put it in a larger room just to try it out and it absolutely brought down the overall temp!! Cant wait to use it in my much smaller office room this summer which is the hottest room of the house. I'm also excited to use it while camping this summer. It plugs in great and works with my smaller sized jackery unit. It will make summer camping (pretty sure its officially glamping when I bring an AC) so much more comfortable! The sound is super quiet also. Overall , I'm impressed and looking into getting a few more for the other rooms in my house to save on electricity this summer. Im for sure happy about this purchase. This unit worked as designed for a total of 1 day. I could not get the 3rd speed to work, and when I tried to hit the "cool," button the unit repeatedly shut off. Fan is quiet, but I didn't need to spend $58.00 for a quiet fan. I have options. I can either keep it and hate myself for wasting money on a product that didn't work. I could try to sell it at a tag sale for $10 and when a prospective customer asks, "does it work," I can say with a straight face "Yes! It works fine!" Or I can send it back and let the company who used child labor in China to build it worry about what to do with it. yeah...that's the ticket. Read more
This is something you could easily find and buy somewhere like 5&below or a dollar tree. Highest setting after running for 5mins, shuts whole machine off. Mist doesn’t work. I’ve set it on the timer and it doesn’t stay on for more than a few minutes. Disappointed with how much money it cost. I’d pay $10 for it. Not $60+ I don’t usually do reviews but when a product is disappointing like this, I’d like to help steer you towards a better quality product than this. I’m not happy with it.
