I thought the blades would be stronger. With that said the pieces have to be very small. For my first smoothy I put in slices of kiwi, 1/2 a small banana and 2 store pre-cut mango slices that I tore into smallish chunks and about 10 blueberries. I had to do a lot of moving it around until the blade would finally move. Then in the end there were chunks that didnt get blended. Now that I have a better idea how well it does or dosnt work I'll make sure future smoothies are chopped well. For an on the go item its not too bad. It cleaned up quick. Power seems a little weak. I did charge it for the recommended time. I dont think putting ice in it would be a good idea.... tried the ice. It has to be almost shaved ice to work, very fine. On the up side. I took it to work again and used it to blend a powdered drink that I added nutella to and it worked awrsome! Read more

I loved it at first for juices and smoothies, and I loved that it had a built-in strainer. I also loved that it would self-clean really well and blend my drinks perfectly; however, I noticed multiple times that the lid would get stuck and not come off easily. I also noticed the battery life was unpredictable, and it was hard to tell how charged it was; even after charging it for hours, it wouldn't last long. After only having this product for about a month, it doesn't turn on when I press it anymore; now it will turn on on its own randomly throughout the day until it dies, so it basically broke down. I wouldn't recommend it because I believe it is not made with quality and will eventually break down on you. Save your money on a similar well-made product. Read more
