There are so many features on this car battery jump starter. I am able to jump start my car, fill up my tires, and charge my phone! The battery life of this starter lasts quite a while without me needing to charge it very often. The LED is bright as well so it’s easy to see when I am working on my car outside in the sun. I had low expectations for this jump starter when it arrived. It felt way too light to have much power and the jump start leads are short and feel like cheap plastic. It actually performed far better than expected! Operation is initially a bit unclear. The instruction card font is so small that it is very difficult to read. Instructions are also somewhat confused and contradictory. Once you play with it for a minute, the operation is pretty simple and intuitive. Press and hold the recessed power button near the light on the top to turn it on. Control functions and setting with the touchscreen display that lights up after startup. It weighs about 1.9 lbs. That is about 1/10th the weight of my prior Stanley automotive jump starter. I am not sure how they did it, but this thing packs a lot of punch for its weight. It is MUCH nicer and smaller to keep in the trunk than the Stanley! It is also less expensive. It claims four times the max amps of the Stanley. It comes with a nice storage bag for the charger and parts. It seems to do a good job detect proper or improper jump connection. I used it to jump start an ATV with a completely dead battery. It was able to deliver enough juice to get the ATV to immediately start right up. I then used it to restart that ATV another 12-15 times before it was low enough on power that it would no longer jump start. It needs one minute between jump start attempts. Even after being too low to jump start, it still had plenty of power to pump up two bike tires and add about 5 psi to a large SUV tire. It probably could have pumped up more, but I was out of things to inflate by that point. The light was still going strong. It works well to recharge phones or other devices. I have not tested this yet, but I think it would be able to fully recharge most phones several times and could probably fully recharge a laptop once. The USB cable (USB-A to USB-C) that comes with it is short and feels cheaply built but works. It can be used both to charge the battery bank or to charge devises with a USB-C connection. I have not yet had the chance to use it to jumpstart a car. I am still skeptical that it will be able to jump start a car with a completely dead battery. It should work well if the car battery just needed a boost. Recharge time for the battery bank will vary based on the output of your charger. 3-5 hours is typical. It can display air pressure in bars, psi, kpa, kg/cm3. Press and hold the right screen button (with circular arrows) to switch between units. Tap that right button to switch between preset pressures for typical car, motorcycle, bike, ball. You can also custom set the desired air pressure. It will shut off automatically when it reaches set pressure. Changing the desired pressure can be a bit finicky since the touchscreen does not always recognize taps. For a larger SUV tire, I estimate that it takes about 20 seconds to add 1 psi to the tire. The LED light is not super bright. And, it is also not able to direct as a beam like a flashlight. It does at least provide enough light to see immediate surroundings and has two red flasher settings. Like I said, there are some less-that-superior cheap parts with this and it would be nice if the jump start leads were longer. And, its effectiveness for jumpstarting a dead car battery is still in question. That being said, it works GREAT for jumpstarting ATVs and inflating and charging devices and has a light. It is worth having something like this in your trunk for emergencies. At around, $55, worth the investment. Read more
