Nevertheless, you cannot dismiss the "placebo effect." If you believe drinking hydrogen water is beneficial then it may be! Regardless, this product is a good quality hydrogen water device. It uses SPE/PEM technology to generate hydrogen and infuse the water. Solid Polymer Electrolyte (SPE) and Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) enables efficient hydrogen production by allowing protons to move while preventing the mixing of gases. I cannot explain it any simpler than that. You can look online and there are plenty of articles and videos explaining this technology in more detail. I'll just say this technology is state-of-the-art for adding hydrogen to water at this time. Finally, you have to drink the water soon after this product has infused the water because the hydrogen does not stay in the water indefinitely.
