Just arrived. It is sturdy and well made. It does not move when typing on it in an elevated position. I've been looking for a stand that I can travel with for business and this is perfect. This item really is wonderful. It costs a fraction of what you’d expect to pay for this ingenuity and smart design. It is not just compact, but effective in its function allowing your device to vent while propping your laptop with multiple height adjustments. I saw a review that said the rubber “feet” that angle up to cradle your laptop in place were not great at grabbing and securing your device. HOWEVER I learned quite by accident that you need to press down on the feet to fully engage them; that allows the bottom of the feet to flatten and the ledge to angle up to hold your laptop very securely. It is almost like a press down and click. If you do not follow this step then your laptop will indeed slip right off. I purchased this because I want a stand that takes up very little space in my luggage for my frequent travels, and I like both the size and the way it works. It fits my small travel laptop perfectly. I haven't used it for travel yet, though, so I can't tell you how sturdy it is or how well it will hold up over time. Read more
