This works as I expected based on reviews here and from The Wirecutter, where it’s the top pick. I found the middle of the 3 speed settings the most comfortable without being too loud. Pros: it provides good cooling for my neck and face and helps all of me feel cool. The middle setting in particular is a good compromise between cooling and not being too loud. It lasts most of the day at thst setting before needing to recharge. Since I often work with a fan in me and my large screen tablet blocks thst fan from reaching my face and neck, this is a good addition to my arsenal of cooling products and it allows me to keep working, not needing me to hold it as my handheld misting fan does. Cons: it’s fairly heavy and would,be annoying around my neck if I were being active, rubbing my neck if I am doing more vigorous housework. I’d still use it but it would irritate. The highest speed is fairly noisy and it can be heard in a call or onscreen meeting. It also dries my eyes out, something I hadn’t considered when I bought it and as I wear contacts this is irritating. It also takes a long time to recharge, hours longer than I expected. I was expecting to take about 2 hours or less and it took about 7 hours. I’d buy it again with those caveats given that I don’t have air conditioning but it does have drawbacks. Read more
