Not safe

This is not secure. My 9 year old son fell hard as it came undone. The brackets would open up even tho he was light. Don’t recommend. Dangerous! Read more

The Perfect Pull-Up Bar for Renters and Travelers

This portable pull-up bar is a game-changer. The "no screw" installation is a huge plus, making it super easy to set up and take down without damaging your door frame. It's surprisingly sturdy and holds up to its 330lbs capacity. I love how lightweight and compact it is, so I can easily take it with me when I travel. It’s perfect for a quick workout anywhere, whether at home or on the go. If you're looking for a simple, effective, and hassle-free way to do pull-ups, this is the one. Read more

Works but Some Limitations

At first glance, I was wary that this pull up device could hold up my 185lb weight. I secured the two handles to a doorway and slowly put my full weight on it. The handles held up without any issue. I pulled up my legs and started doing some pull ups. The device worked great and let me get a good work out. Here are the caveats. The handles hang down about a foot below the inside top of the doorway. The standard doorway has a 6’8” top elevation. I’m 5’8” tall so I could manage by picking up my feet. I think some taller folks will have a hard time getting clearance to do a full pull up in a standard doorway. I’m concerned about marking up the door frame after prolonged use and possible damage, but as of now I don’t notice any ill effects from using the device. Overall, it works, but may not be great for everyone. Read more
