Love my bag!
Love my new purse and the plum color. Made very well. Good size bag. Holds my stuff with some extra room. Just know that there is no buckle on the shoulder strap, so it’s not adjustable. I saw this one in the Portland Leather store and I got the same one on sale through Amazon at a little better price. Read more

Quality leather, but not lined and no extra pockets
Great leather purse, but I returned it. This purse is not lined and it does not have any zippered sections or pouches inside it. There is no pocket on the outside either. I need a pouch for small things like chap stick and a zippered section for pens and such. I love the size and it seemed to be quality leather- just disappointed that it was not lined or did not have any pouches or zippered sections. Read more
Beautiful bag that may require leather conditioner
I ordered this bag in the dark plum color and it is beautiful. What I did not realize is that it would come with a notice that the dye on the shoulder strap could transfer to a light garment if the leather is not conditioned. I went on the seller's website to find a recommended leather conditioner and ordered it. This is the first time that I have ever purchased a pocketbook that I needed to condition before using, but this bag is worth it. I contacted the Portland Leather Goods through Facebook to inquire whether one application of the conditioner would do the trick and they responded with good advice. Read more
ONLY the small size comes with the adjustable strap!
Giving 4 starts b/c my 'large' bag showed up without the adjustable strap. I'm pretty certain the only size this bag comes in WITH the adjustable strap is SMALL. Amazon's listing is somewhat misleading in that, but after checking the Portland Leather website, that's the conclusion I've come to. Aside from that the bag is beautiful and the leather is soft and slouchy. Read more
