I bought this desss hoping to wear it to work but it is too casual. The material is the exact same as my yoga pants. It isn't se through, but it screams athleisure wear. It is very stretchy and is a decent length to the knees. Wearing this skirt, I feel comfortable and still able to stretch and move around without being limited by it being a longer skirt. It's very stretchy, and also has a cut down the middle on the back for extra flexibility. The fit is great, and goes down just past my knees, as pictured. The sizing seems to be just right. As I said, it's also stretchy and so doesn't need any extra adjusting or measuring. It looks very nice and professional, though it is form-fitting due to being made out of a spandex-like material. It doesn't have any pockets, sadly, which is the only thing I'd take a star away for. If it did, it would be much more versatile for wearing out and about so I don't need a purse all the time. Though even if it did have pockets, the skirt would probably sag/fall down since it doesn't have a belt or draw string, but instead relies on stretch. I wasn't sure what to expect from a "yoga pencil skirt" but I am pleasantly surprised. Picture a midi-length pencil skirt, made with the same fabric and stitching style as your favorite pair of leggings. It is very stretchy and pretty clingy, as you'd expect leggings to be. My ideal fit would have been a bit more snug at the waist (tummy control) and more loose from the hips down (smooth out lines), but this is not an A-line skirt, it is a pencil skirt. I do really like the way it drapes toward the bottom. I typically wear between L and XL, and I'm glad I went with the XL. If you're between sizes, sizing up will give you more of a conservative professional look, and sizing down will give you more of a bodycon kind of look. I don't think I'd wear this skirt for actual yoga (though it's certainly stretchy enough for the majority of poses, it does not have shorts built in), but I did wear it to work at my business-casual office and thought it was just professional enough for that setting. I think it's perfect for the kind of job where you have to look professional but also be physically active, like an elementary school teacher, retail store worker, or medical professional. Or for a date where you want to show off your curves while doing something slightly active, or just for a casual day off where you want to look your best but also feel oh-so-comfy while running errands. I would never have imagined a yoga pencil skirt would be a real thing (sounds more like an AI blunder), let alone something I'd want, but here it is, a skirt I really enjoy wearing. Read more
