I ordered this because I felt myself beginning to be lazy and slump forward when working on computer, reading, etc. No medical reason, just more comfortable to slouch. I have tried several different style devices to improve my posture but this looked unique and lightweight. It is both. The device is easy to use and has a simple Velcro strap to hold it securely around the neck and allow you to somewhat customize the fit. The “plateau” that goes under the chin is padded and did not cut into my neck in anyway. It is adjustable by using a small sliding device on the front of the neckpiece. It was a good size for my average build and seems well built. Of course, it won’t get a lot of wear and tear since it is just making sure you stay in an aligned position. For all the good things about this device, I don’t really know that it has done much to help my posture. It is only the early stages but there is nothing to prevent me from rolling my neck fairly freely, does zero to keep my neck, head and shoulders in alignment. I guess I misinterpreted the “cervical spine alignment” to mean reaching a bit further than just my neck so that is likely my fault. I think this will provide relief for individuals with pain in their neck but not sure it will do anything for correcting or supporting my posture. Again, well made and comfortable but just didn’t do much for me. If you need pain relief or neck support this device may be perfect for you. Read more

I've been down for the last week with a neck injury that was in part a result of some construction work that I was doing alone, but also because of some occipital neuralgia that was causing agonizing spasms. I went to the emergency room and was put in a cervical collar and got a CT scan, etc etc. But when they discovered that there wasn't a fracture that they could see, they remove the cervical color... At which point I began to cry and moan and how and beg for them to let me keep that collar on! The P.A. doctor was ridiculous and actually fought with me when I tried to grab a hold of the collar. He grabbed even harder, and he tossed it in the trash can and said there was no way I could keep it! I was terribly upset, and I was in terrible, excruciating pain! When I saw this as an item to review, I quickly jumped at the chance. I'm feeling better now, and I don't have the spasms that are occurring from moving my neck. But this would have been perfect for me. I love that it has an adjustable height on the collar. And I like the simplistic design. The cervical color at the hospital actually was very painful on the back of my head because it was only slightly padded and pushed very hard against the frame of my head, which is apparently bigger than average! 😅😘 The designed it to hold necks steady, so I his they did okay, but I most certainly prefer this design because it's not as cumbersome. The reason the doctor wouldn't let me keep the cervical color is because it can be very dangerous to your neck muscles if they aren't moved. I don't know much more than that, but I do know that it's actually very bad to completely isolate your neck without medical supervision. So, if you do get this, make sure that your neck is only using it for short burst of time, not hours or days on end. I'm no medical doctor, but that's the consensus in the medical field. With that said, I do love this design and I love the simplicity of it, and the velcro works really well, and the padding at the size of the neck are great. My only concern is that it might not be padded enough for the chin area. That felt a little hard for me, and in fact kind of bothered my head at its lowest setting, just because it felt too hard for me. Now mind you, that may be just me, but I would prefer they had some options for thickness of padding. I think it should be an inch to 2 in even. I'm very grateful to have this, and unfortunately, I will probably need to use it at other times with the challenges of my arthritis and spine issues. Read more

I’ve had a strangely good experience with this posture corrector, honestly more than I expected. Because I usually end up sleeping half‑sitting, half‑leaning, I tend to jerk forward or sideways without warning and that wakes me up with a kind of electric sting in my neck. It’s not a huge injury, not like hospital bad, but it’s sharp enough to make me curse. If it twisted the wrong way, I could see it turning into something worse. This gadget, or brace, or whatever you call it, has really changed that pattern and I don’t jerk awake like before, not nearly as much anyway. What really sticks out is the fit, like it somehow knew my shoulders before I did. It hugs close but not tight, supportive but not bossy, and I can slide it on or off in seconds. That’s huge when it’s late and I’m half asleep and don’t want to fight with straps or those weird plastic loops that always end up backward. It just works, mostly. I do remind myself not to overuse it though. Wearing any posture thing too long can strain the neck muscles, I read that somewhere or maybe a doctor said it once. So I keep it short, just during sleep, and that seems fine. It never reaches the point of discomfort but still keeps me aligned, or at least less crooked. Another good thing—it’s light, almost suspiciously light. Doesn’t weigh me down or make me sweat. Once it’s on, I forget it’s there except that I’m not waking up with that sudden neck snap anymore, which is kind of the whole point. All in all this posture corrector has been quietly useful. It gives me calmness at night, knowing I won’t twist myself into pain again. For anyone who sleeps upright or half‑upright, it’s a small tool that oddly makes a big difference. Read more
It's not as sturdy as it looks. It's quite dainty in fact. Read more
