I am positive that anything that is for adjustment of your posture is meant to be totally uncomfortable for the time that you wear it. I say this because I’ve been to doctors that have said you know you have a little scoliosis in your back or your posture is bad. They suggest braces that they can fit you with to help. Those braces are actually metal and I’m sure they are not comfortable at all. I tend to have back pain and in my shoulders as well as my neck likely more due to stress or just probably sleeping wrong. So when I saw this back posture strap type of product, I thought at least if I’m not willing to get like a brace or anything like that this might be helpful in correcting a little bit of my posture. Upon first sight of this product, it was a little confusing on the instructions of how to adjust it because it comes with the Velcro attached already to the straps. It doesn’t even show like an a little adjustment part but what you have to do is you have to remove the Velcro two tabs and then put it on and then pull those tabs as tight as you need to to keep your posture straight in the back. In order to do this, you need to pull it very tightly, which makes it of course uncomfortable around your arms. The instructions say to wear it for 15 to 30 minutes and it doesn’t say per day or for how long but imagine maybe start off per day and then work your way up to more time probably because 15 minutes a day probably isn’t going to do it for you if you’ve been having wrong posture for a lifetime. This is one of the larger sizes and I’m having to bring the tabs all the way up to my neck to adjust it tight enough. I can see where if someone had a wider back that the tabs would be probably on their back which would be hard for them to fix themselves. So I could see that being something that needs to be improved on this product. You need to be able to put it on and adjust it yourself if you have a larger back. In my case, I was able to pull it up because I’m smaller. I like the material and then I can wash it. Although, I don’t think I’ll be wearing it enough to get it really sweaty or dirty but I like that you do have the ability to clean it. The price of this isn’t high and I’m sure other medical remedies for the same thing are way higher and way more uncomfortable. I will start with this and see what happens. Maybe even a slight bit of improvement will help with my back. Read more

Got this for my partner who struggles with her posture and it causes her pain. She's tried wearing it at her desk to help train her posture and child strength in the back muscles. At first we thought it only felt a little uncomfortable because she wasn't used to it and was moving around in it too much. But she's tried it now for a couple weeks and it's still just really uncomfortable. Like we know it takes time to build those muscles but it's just that the straps kinda dig into her shoulders and rather than feeling like it supports her posture, it feels like she can't really move freely The piece seems to be durable and well made. It doesn't support her back enough to keep wearing it more than here and there. So far it hasn't been effective in changing her posture at all except while wearing it. The hope it would train her back seems a little silly now. Read more

I tend to roll forward when I'm standing around or meandering (e.g. I volunteer at a food pantry and spend a lot of time standing / wandering amongst the shelves helping clients). Consequently, my back gets tired and sore, including my lower back. This device pulls my shoulders back, which in turn makes me stand up straighter. This is NOT support for lifting - it is purely a posture helper. It squeezes pretty tight, so it isn't comfortable for more than a couple of hours. I think it would be helpful if you hunch over your keyboard or phone (although I would also suggest you get your eyes checked and look into "computer" glasses that will correct your vision and center your focus at the proper "screen distance"). Material is suitable. Price: Based on a brief scan, this is about 10-15% less than similar products. Size: The product page gives waist measurement. This goes nowhere near your waist, so I suspect that is copy and pasted from an actual back brace. I'm about 6' tall and have lifted weights in my day - but I'm not what I'd consider "big." I wear between a L & XL in shirts and they're not tight. This device is adjustable, but I only have maybe 1.5" of play in the straps. I don't think that is enough. If you're an XL or a muscular L, then I suspect this wouldn't comfortably fit you. Read more

Works well to correct posture issues. I wear this every other day for about 4 hours. It does help to keep your torso upright and it is not uncomfortable to me at all. I can hardly notice that I am wearing it. After about a week my posture has shown much improvement! I plan to keep wearing as it makes me feel taller and gives me confidence that it is actually working! Now it is up to me to keep it up! Read more
