I purchased this item a few months ago and I wanted a chance to use it daily for a while in order to provide an accurate review of my experience with it. I purchased it to help with my scoliosis and it has done so. I walk my dog twice daily and normally experience pain that requires me to sit for a few minutes several times during the walks. This brace enables me to complete my walks the majority of the time without a need to sit down. This has made a huge improvement in my daily routine. According to my waist size I was right on the line between Small and Medium. So I went with Medium. It is a bit too big. It’s workable, but I have to overlap the straps quite a bit. Please don’t think this brace will “cure” your scoliosis. It helps my posture, and it lets me stay on my feet a bit longer without my back giving out. (Think yard work, cooking, walking, etc.). This fits a petite woman torso only with a small boat that’s not super low due to gravity and/or kids. It’s barely low enough to be comfortable in the under bust area but still slightly high and annoying if wearing an underwire and sitting. Fits me comfortably and easy to breath in, but I am all those things above. I’ll try to update after my move and make sure it did prevent injuring my back now that I’m in my 40’s and not easily bouncing back from mild strain but needed one for the full length of my back and so very hopeful. So avoid if a normal length torso or you have a bust that’s not a high as an A in 30’s or 40’s that also didn’t have kids. Read more
This back support has been a back saver. It’s comfortable & light weight. Easy to put on. No fuss no muss. After about 10 hours my arms do get a bit weary of the shoulder harness. Even if you do not tighten the shoulder straps, it still rides up. I think if the belt around the waist would be narrower that may help it stay below the ribs to provide the necessary support.
