Pour over coffee is my favorite. Less than 5 mins for a satisfying cup of morning brew. This filter is easy to use, fine weave, no mess, was easy to clean. I tap upside down on a newspaper to save the coffee grounds for my garden. My friend totes her popular single serve machine, all its necessities, including special water, and all silly single serve non recyclable cups. Can't beat the price. The quality is great. I'm trying Pour Over for the first time. And man, it made a heck of a difference. I blended Starbucks Verona With Copper Moon. And drank it Black. No bite, no bitterness. Did a 2 (copper moon Pecan) to one Verona. And it is a Winner. Better than any cup of coffee I've experienced so far. And I'm 70 yrs. Be sure to follow the directions of this site. As to how to first wet the grounds. Wait about 20-30 sec. Then slowly pour in a circular motion outside to inside then middle. Makes excellent coffee, doesn't require filters, and is very compact and light weight. This is why I chose this for my backpacking coffee set up. Been using it for a week now and am pleased. Its easy to clean to boot. Only downside is, it's a bit slow to brew. It tends to gunk up and take a while for the water to drain through the coffee grounds all the way. This actually results in tastier, stronger coffee so I am all for it, but expect about 3 to 4 minutes to make a cup of coffee from the point the water started boiling. Read more
