I'm actually surprised how much I've ended up using these due to their convenience. I have free weights and machines at home so it's not like it's a burden to go to the gym. However, keeping this set of bands next to my desk has me randomly picking them up and exercising during drawn out meetings or when I've sat for too long. This is a really decent "gym in a bag". I plan on taking on travel with me. It's a pretty small it even with all of the bands but it would be easy to save space by only taking the ones you know you will use. I'm not using anything above the orange band at the moment. Because resistance is required you do sometimes have to get creative or find the right positioning to target the areas you want. You don't have gravity on your side like with free weights. The quality seems great though with anything like this my concern is how well they will hold up over time, especially with UV exposure that can rapidly deteriorate rubber. At this point all I can say is that I'm really happy. Considering the convenience and versatility if they last at least a year I'd consider them worth the cost and get another set. Read more
I’m an old guy that was told by the Doc that I need to do some type of weight/resistance training to increase muscle mass and flexibility. I’m just not comfortable going to the gym, and someone recommended trying resistance bands to get me back on track. These are doing something as I’m as sore as hell! I wish that these came with a more traditional workout as what’s included seems to be geared toward athletes. A Google search gave me what I needed. I assume that over time, these will stretch out as rubber bands do. The jury is out on how long they’ll last. Overall, I’m impressed and hope that these might eventually lead me to the gym when I’m no longer struggling with 10 pound weights. Read more

PowerNet seems to me to be a great company. First off, their Resistance Loop Exercise Bands are of good quality, come in a reusable pouch that cinches closed, and come with a booklet with exercise suggestions. Each band is clearly labeled with it's level of strength. My set happened to arrive with two of the Heavy (red) bands and was missing the X-Heavy (black) band. I’m very happy with these resistant loop bands. There are five different resistance levels which makes them great for a variety of exercises. They are high quality from what I can tell. It even came with a booklet of different exercises to get you started.
