I purchased two bars of this soap. It’s expensive; however the size of this soap is 5.3 oz., feels good in your hand, and it’s slow to dissolve/melt. The color is a lemony yellow. I wasn’t sure what Linden would smell like. It’s a pleasant floral and has (to my nose) a sharp under note. I think that this fragrance could work well in women’s AND men’s products. If your looking for a lightly scented soap that exfoliates without scratching, this may be your answer. I've been using this soap for over six years, and although it seems pricey, I cannot find anything else that matches the perfect level of exfoliation. I use it in the shower and also as a facial soap. I believe the secret to this soap being so perfect as an exfolient is that the particles are very small but are distributed liberally. Because clean and fresh isn’t what I’d say this smelled like. More like old lady. Didn’t even need to use it. Smelled it through the package. Hard pass. Sent it back. I got the milk soap. It smells strongly, but I love the scent. It smells clean and soft. The scent stays with you as you go about your day bringing good spirits.
