I bought a used Craftsman tool chest that had ancient dirty shelf liner inside. Bought a roll of this shelf liner and it worked great. Cuts easily, lays flat, sufficiently thick, just wide enough for the deepest drawers. However, as many have said, be warned it isn't a full 18" wide. It's perhaps a quarter inch shy of that width. This product was perfect for my laundry room shelf. I had an issue with leaking detergent getting all over the shelf and eating away at the paint, and it was really difficult to clean. I wanted something solid to line the shelf so that if I ever have another issue, I can remove the liner, hose it down, and replace it. This liner truly lies flat even when it's first unrolled, making it very easy to measure out. The grid lines make cutting a breeze. I used a box cutter and it went through the liner with no effort. I was able to make the cutout for the plug with the liner in place with a few simple cuts. The liner isn't too thick so it doesn't take up a lot of space, but it does have some cushion and grips whatever sits on top of it nicely. I think it only took me about 10 minutes to go from opening the package to putting all my items back on the shelf. It looks great. I have plenty of liner left for another shelf but would definitely buy this again if I needed more! Read more
