I served in the Army for 20+ years and wore body armor in the Army for a long time in very austere environments. I ordered the W8FIT vest to continue with my physical fitness and I am beyond impressed with the comfort of the vest. I am able to run with the 18lb vest with no discomfort. The weight is distributed evenly and I can pull the straps in tight to secure to my body. I like the additional features of the reflective tape so I can been seen when I walk or run in the morning and at night. There are two pockets at the top of the vest, which is a phenomenal feature, so I don’t have to keep in my shorts pockets and feel them sway as I move.
