I have normally used a rotary electric razor (mostly Norelco) for shaving but a couple of years ago, when I needed to replace my rotary razor, I decided to try a foil razor (specifically one make by Braun) since it had gotten top scores from a consumer magazine. I noticed that this foil razor didn't provide as close a shave as my rotary razor but thought I was doing something wrong as I didn't have experience with foil razors. Six months later I was still having the same issue and needed to switch to different included attachments to get a clean shave. Not only was that annoying but it took.a long time to get a close shave so a few months later I decided to go back to a rotary razor. While looking at razor reviews on Amazon for rotary razors, I came across this IPX7 rotary razor. It didn’t have as many reviews as razors from Norelco but surprisingly all the reviewers gave it 5 stars! I was skeptical but the price and features looked compelling so I decided to order one and give it a try. I have now been using the IPX7 for more than a month and have been pleasantly surprised by how good a job it does! Not only am I able to get a close shave, it does the job very fast, especially compared to my old Braun foil razor. My only reservation is that the razor didn't come with a travel case but given its lower price, I don't view that as a negative. The IPX7 does come with a travel lock feature which ensure that the razor won't turn on accidentally during travel. I thought when my anchient Phillips shaver that included the small trimmer blades died, it would be impossible to replace since Phillips would only sell the shaver and trimmer separately. But then I found this one. It's a great shaver, very sharp making shaving quick, and the trimmer works fine. Terriffic value! I've tried products like this before and it was always a poor shave, poor battery life, and blades and battery that wore out fast. This one is quality so far. Close shave. Long battery life. Simple blader removal and replacement. My one concern is that there does not seem to be any way to replace the battery so when that gives out it's probably scrap (ALL cordless appliances should have a user-replaceable battery). Otherwise it's pretty much perfect as long as the battery doesn't wear out and you can buy replacement blades when they wear out. Read more

Electric Razor worked pretty well. The blades are new so they cut very smoothly. It was easy to wash it with water. I only used two charges of battery so far, and it was not bad. It lasted 50 to 60 minutes with one 60 minutes of charge. Not sure how long it will last, but I hope it will be at least one year. No issues yet. Good value for the money! Read more

First electric razor i ever had and it works great however i hate the automatic shut off if you lose grip and you wait 3 seconds to turn it back on. Other than that its a nice shaver which i hope to get used to it before i go back to a razor. Read more
