There are many steam cleaners on Amazon to choose from so I decided to choose this one based on the customer reviews and the price. I used the steamer on my disgusting stove top that had dried tomato sauce, dried grease, and black residue from overflowed boiling water. I used the metal brush attachment and wow...the job took me less than 10-15 minutes for a spotless stovetop. There are more chores to be done with this steamer and I look forward to tackling those at some point soon. For the money, this steamer does a wonderful job. Great value for sure. I was surprised with how small the unit was but it is mighty powerful. Initially, I thought the tank was too small but I only filled it up half way and for the stovetop job, I only used less than a 1/4 of the water. Cord length is good and the noise level was ideal for its purpose. The carry handle make it nice to move easily and the weight of the steamer with water is still light. I used to use oven cleaner and other chemicals to clean the stovetop and now this is the perfect solution for a chemical free cleaning solution. I'd definitely recommend this steamer for anyone looking for a compact, lightweight, powerful, and includes many added accessories to get the job done. This is an incredible little steam cleaner for the price! There is a lot to like about it. The steam output is very strong and works wonders on cleaning old tile grout, which is what I bought it for. After seeing the job it did on the grout, there are more uses I want to try it on. Having 3 steam levels makes it very adaptable for different jobs. Level 3 for the grout and level 2 for cleaning out the shower. It just cleans up all the soap scum with ease. I'm thinking level 1 would be good for smaller areas like sinks and gas range grease build up. All the controls are on the steam gun and very easy to use. The gun has an extension pipe that is great for doing jobs that require some distance away from the heat if needed, especially on level 3 jobs. The steam output is a lot more than what I expected. The 48 oz. water capacity is enough to keep you going for at least 30 minutes until refill, which is more than enough for most jobs. There are more than enough attachments that come along with this steamer. It's compact size makes it very easy to fit into a small area in a closet or underneath a sink. I don't like leaving reviews, but I thought this might be of use to someone looking at this unit. The steam cleaner seems to work really well. At first I was a little disappointed with the performance. I filled the reservoir and turned the unit on. The handle connected to the base quickly (it uses some sort of wifi pairing communications from the base to the handle - it's not a wired connection) and the unit started pressurizing. Then water - not steam - started sputtering from the handle tip. My first thought was - Lemon. a few seconds later I had a steady stream of steam. It was very cool though and condensed on my hand when placed in the stream. I was expecting HOT. This was a surprise. This is the first steam cleaner I have ever owned, so I wasn't really sure what to expect. As I brought my hand closer to the nozzle, the temperature of the steam increased dramatically. This makes sense as stem easily transfers its heat to the ambient air. At the tip of the nozzle I would expect to receive 3rd degree burns very quickly. I purchased this unit to help me defrost my mother's refrigerator for some maintenance and repair of the ice maker. This little unit made very quick work of removing the ice blockages and made the repairs so much easier and faster. I worked with the unit for about 30 minutes on the medium setting and did not have to stop and refill the base once. The long hose and the included accessories made getting into small spaces easy. The unit heats up and produces steam very quickly. Other units I looked at prior to making this purchase stated that it takes several minutes to warm up and the steam will likely last only a few minutes, then you have to wait for cool down for about 5 minutes to refill. This little steam cleaner heats up and cools down quickly, has a large reservoir that I didn't have to refill for my job and even if I did, the unit powers down and cools quickly so refilling would have taken seconds if I had needed it. The only real concern I have at this point is that the hose gets hot to the tough when in use. This could be a problem in the hose contacts material with a low melting point such as plastic of synthetic fabrics. I don't know how hot it gets, but it was uncomfortable to hold. This is the reason for the 4-stars. Overall, I am very pleased with this steam cleaner. Assuming the unit lasts, I would highly recommend it to others in need of an inexpensive and versatile steam cleaner. Read more
