This corduroy midi skirt is good quality and has a nice weight to it. The material has a bit of stretch, which makes it comfortable once on and helps it move well throughout the day. That said, the waist definitely runs small. The skirt fit well through the hips and length, but the waistband was tighter than expected. If you’re between sizes or prefer a more comfortable fit at the waist, I’d recommend sizing up. Overall, it’s a stylish fall skirt that looks polished and pairs well with sweaters or boots—just be mindful of the sizing when ordering. Read more

I had a particular look in mind for this semi-casual work event. This particular brown ended up not being my favorite and I'm pretty forgiving; it's brown after all. And it didn't feel like the heavy corduroy I grew up with, but that's okay too. What I liked about the skirt was the length. I am 5'3 1/2, 185 lb. It came somewhere between my shins and ankles and I was planning to wear a 3 inch platform Oxford shoe. But I suppose that would depend on whether you have long legs vs. short waist etc. I'd say I'm average where that's concerned. The slit is perfect. I couldn't have anything that was showing thigh when I sat down or walked. It came about just above my knees. It was substantial enough material to not feel overly thin, but it also wasn't overly heavy material, which I wonder if that's the reason it didn't seem to have much shape or form. It could also be that I needed to size down. I purchased an 18 based on the recommendation. And whenever the recommendation tells me to go up, I have learned to go up lol! Unfortunately by the time I got it here, tried it on, it just looked a bit frumpy with the rest of my outfit. When I took those exact other items and put them with a Palazzo pant that I think I got from Amazon ages ago, the outfit was super cute with the Palazzo pants. So I just returned the skirt. I also got it in khaki which actually looked much better for some reason. You know how sometimes different colors just work better with certain materials? Perhaps that was the case here, but again it just looked a bit frumpy and not quite stylish. You could dress it up some I suppose. I had kind of a preppy vibe going, channeling my high school days, and it just didn't work with the skirt. I got a really cute crew neck long sleeve tighten it sweater from Amazon, a crispy white shirt with a great collar and cuffs which was admittedly boxy so I'm glad I was wearing it under the sweater. It may have more versatility. Someone could probably dress it up a little more with a blazer, or dress it down with a t-shirt and sneakers, both of which I would 100% do if it had looked good on me. Because of the other great things like having pockets, a well placed slit with a great height, being able to walk in it comfortably, I gave it four stars because given those things I just mentioned, I would have just returned it and sized down, but I got it on a flash sale and the price went up by $8 and I couldn't get it here in time. The one star off is that I still have a suspicion the shape could be a little more improved. So perhaps give it a try, but really look at the measurements. For the price, $39 last I checked, you really should like how you look in it. ;-) Read more
So this skirt is like a corduroy material which I love. The material is thick but super comfortable and nice and warm which means I can wear it in the winter. Because of the cut of it I can also get away with fall and spring. I think it would be to warm for summer thought. I love the feel and quality of the skirt. I have a strange body type and this was very flattering. The size and fit was spot on. I got my normal size and I didn’t need to size up or down. Good value for the money. Read more
I wanted to like this! I love the style, color and material. The quality is good. It’s got a great stretch to it and is very comfortable. However, it just didn’t flatter my body. I usually can get away with pencil style skirts but the zipper part is a tad too bulky for me, which made my belly look bigger. I started with my true size 10, but returned and got a 12, which was a much better fit but unfortunately I will be returning. Read more

I recently purchased a skirt for my trip, hoping it would be a versatile addition to my wardrobe. Unfortunately, my experience with this skirt was far from satisfactory. First and foremost, the quality of the fabric was disappointing. The skirt was incredibly thin, making it feel cheap and poorly constructed. I expected a sturdy and well-made garment, but this was not the case. During my trip, I had planned to rotate it with other outfits, but I quickly realized that it was not up to the task. Regrettably, I didn't have the option to substitute it with another skirt, and I found myself stuck with it throughout my travels. If I had realized the quality before leaving home, I would have certainly requested a refund. In conclusion, I cannot recommend this skirt. While the design might be appealing, the lack of quality is a dealbreaker. It’s a shame I couldn't return it. Save your money and look for something that offers better durability and craftsmanship.
