Soft, cushy knit. It's a nice midweight sweater, not too bulky, so you don't feel chunky in it. I love the brown color; it's a deep, dark chocolate that looks so rich. Button placement is SO well done; they didn't try to chintz out with less buttons, so no gapping when you put your shoulders back. Pretty Garden generally runs a little big, and I know that, so I ordered the XS, and it fits beautifully. I haven't laundered it yet, but I see they say hand wash. I don't hand wash anything, so it will be put in a mesh bag, and machine washed on gentle cycle, cool water, in my agitator-less washing machine. I'm going to see what other colors they have... Soft and cozy, unfortunately it does not wear well. It pils up terribly-have to sweater shave after each wear. I will probably turn it into a lounge sweater because it looks so bad after a few times wearing it. Read more
