These dresses are great! Very flattering on my body, 195-ish lbs, 5'4", and curvy. I wanted something that minimized my lower belly pooch while accentuating my curves, that covered my arms, that would not be too short, and that was age-appropriate while still fun, modern and classy (I'm a youthful 69). Tall order! But -- VOILA! This little dress does it all. The XL hits me at the knee (if it was a little shorter, that would also be fine as I love wearing fun printed leggings with boots). It fits just right -- form-fitting but definitely "just" shy of being overly tight and causing the material to pull; if you're at or over 200 lbs, XXL may be a better choice. It hits my mid section perfectly, flaring nicely and not highlighting my lower belly, but for long-waisted gals, the fit may differ in that area. If sizing down to get a form-fitting look, darker colors or prints usually work best so as not to accentuate bra lines - along with good shape wear. I've found this to be especially true when carrying too much weight. The dress is made of a scuba-like material, with enough stretch to accommodate variations within a size, yet still able to hold things in. The darting around the midsection is the icing on the cake! It gives a smooth, tailored effect. Classy. Fit and flare dresses are always my favorite! After I tried on the black version, I immediately ordered the army green. I want more colors, now. I purchased this dress to wear to a company holiday party and it worked perfectly. It is also a nice little black dress. The sizing was accurate, length was good and material nice. The dress was well made with a sturdy fabric- nothing was thin or see through and I feel like it will hold up well to multiple wears/washing. The fabric was not super soft, but overall it was comfortable with no scratching. I liked it enough that I would purchase in a different color for a future event. Read more
It was for a Go Red event for the American Heart Association. Cute dress, material was soft and heavy. No pockets but it still worked. I’m a med/Lg and purchased a lg and it fit great! I’m about 5’6 165lbs. Hope this helps Read more

Cute style, but the torso is too long for my petite shape therefore the skirt hit too low and didn’t flare out like it shows on the model. Also, bust area too large, so for me, overall fit was not good. The quality however is beautiful. Material is a bit different: almost a scuba-type, but not stiff like a true scuba material. I was excited to receive this dress. When it arrived I was nice to see the thicker material of the dress. However, once it was on the fit was nothing to be desired. I really like this dress. I found I am between two sizes. I am 5'4" and 125#, and the sleeves and shoulder seams are a bit long on the medium but the bodice was too snug on the small. (This is probably a "me" problem as I am short waisted; it might not be true for you.) I settled on the medium and turn the sleeves under. It is easy and very comfortable, of relatively decent quality, and the cut is fun and flirty. It makes a great party dress but, depending on the color and how you style it, could also be worn in the office. It is flattering as it's form-fitting and then flares in just the right places. It's not too long or short, hitting just a couple of inches above the knee (but, again, because I'm short wasted it might be shorter on you). I tried it in several colors and settled on red, which made for the perfect holiday dress. It's versatile enough to wear with panty hose and heels or tights and boots, and can be worn dressed up or minimalist. I will say beware of the "army green," as the one I tried was brown, not green. It is mid weight and could take you from fall through spring. I am happy with the purchase and would recommend this dress, especially for the price. Read more
