Nice plaid shacket but too small for me unfortunately. I am giving it to my daughter who loved it when she saw it on me. Mostly too small in the bust for me esp if I wear a thicker shirt under it. We all know that ordering clothes online is hit-or-miss but I got lucky on this one. This is not a structured, heavy-weight jacket. It's a great, stylish alternative to wearing a sweater. It's casual but dressy. The fabric is not thick and not lined, which is good if you get hot easily. I like the pockets and the length is great. I am about 5' 8" and it comes to about 3 inches above the knee. The shoulder seams are down on the arm a bit so that makes them forgiving in the fit. It came with pretty deep wrinkles that had to be steamed out. Be aware that the black attracts everything. I got this on sale for a little over 40 dollars. Not sure I would pay more than that. I'm 5'7" and 208lbs. I ordered my usual size and it fits well. There are two buttons on this shacket. The second button was a little tight because of my hips but it still buttoned. The shacket comes to about mid thigh level, maybe a little longer. I could layer a shirt and sweater or sweatshirt underneath this shacket. The fabric is soft and thick, good quality and warmth. Not wool. And not even a little bit. It's listed as 100% polyester. And it's cute. But not worth what I paid. Debating a day or two to try it out. Because it's also not thick. Like it works instead of a regular sweater. But I wanted a coat. So don't call this a wool winter coat. It's a light weight polyester sweater. Its not even double lined. And it definitely won't keep you warm in 50 Fahrenheit and under weather. Like a wool jacket would. Again super cute outer wear. BUT Not A WOOL Jacket. Definitely not worth the price I paid. Great quality. It’s light weight but kept me warm on a cold beachy windy day! I wore a light sweatshirt under it and it felt comfortable. I’ve also worn a short sleeve T under it and like it both ways. It’s got give or you can button it and it’s classy and nice for a lunch or dinner. I’m 5’2” 130-135 and got a M.
