This dress is beautiful and looks beautiful on. I am 5'3 180 pounds, hourglass figure. My hips are 41 inches. I got Large which the system recommended and it fits true to size. It's very flattering and classy. I got SO many compliments on this dress, to the point where people just came out and asked where I got it. I have it in blue, black and just ordered the brown. These colors are not see though (someone mentioned the white is-can't comment on that). The material has a good winter weight to it. The dress is soft and warm. One reviewer said it comes wrinkled. Yes, just a little, but I iron steamed on the lowest setting as recommended on the tag, with a mesh cloth on top and the wrinkles came right out without affecting the pleats at all. I got the extra large, but it does not sag or hang incorrectly. It is a lovely dress, and the sweater material is super soft. My only issue is that I would not call it "maxi" as it was almost mid-calf (and I'm just under 5'5" so I'm not very tall for it to be mid-calf as a maxi dress.
