Beautiful material, fits exactly as shown and size is perfect. I was a bit scared to order this because I have such a hard time finding a dress very suitable for my granddaughter's wedding. I love this dress as it is nice enough for her wedding but also perfect for casual dinners out and for church. I ordered the XXL and don't need any alterations for once! Hooray for me! For starters, the dress is well made and even lined. It is really cute with a short cardigan sweater, which is how I wear it. The top isn't the best-fitting. I think it's a little too loose and structure-less. It needs some kind of elastic for shape. However, the sweater transforms it and I get lots of compliments on the dress. Fits well on the lower but there is not a lot of stretch in the chest area so it’s pretty difficult to get off without ripping but If I got a bigger size it would be too big. I like the color and style a lot, I think there should be a zipper. Read more
The fabric on this dress is a slightly thicker woven. The skirt hangs down in a slight A-line to my ankles (I'm 5'4") and is lined. I would say the blue is not navy but rather a more cornflower blue. I'm pairing it with a white sweater as shown to dress it up a little. The bodice is more fitted but with a stretchy back so it is comfortable and cute. This fit me perfectly. Now, there isn’t any stretch to the fabric, so it’s one of those garments that either fits your shape or doesn’t. My dress was fully lined (which was good since the fabric is so thin, would have been see-through otherwise). Not a true gingham, just a printed-on design. I also ordered the brown, but on that one the back wasn’t sewn properly, so I easily returned it. I think this dress so cute, and although the skirt goes straight down, no extra fabric to twirl, at least it will not blow up in the wind! However, my husband said I look like a tablecloth. I ordered 2 of these dresses.One in the navy blue and one in the green.Both a size large. The blue fit nicely and didn't have a lining, only in the bust area. The green was lined all the way down. The green was tighter in the bust area and the lining made the dress too poofy. I don't understand why one was lined but not the other. There is inconsistent sizing as well as pattern match up. I sent the green back . Cute dress, modest and light for summer. The navy was not see through and this dress really doesn't need to be lined on the bottom. I ordered the pink to see if that one will not be lined and hopefully fits like the navy blue one. Update, the pink was also lined and too tight. I returned it. Read more
