Really pretty, flattering (body/curve hugging), and the ribbed sweater fabric is thick and soft with stretch. You won’t have to worry about undergarment lines and cellulite or minor body imperfections showing through this fabric. I am 5’ 5” 160 lbs and the large was a good fit. Hits below the knee (midi length) and the v-neck is not too low, does not show bra. I love the shape of the sleeves. I bought this in black to wear to a funeral but it is versatile and appropriate for many occasions. First off, let me start by saying I am almost 5’4 tall, am 64 yrs old, and since I’ve gained a stubborn 20 lbs in the last few years, I’m currently 160 lbs. I hadn’t been feeling/looking my physical best lately, so I wasn’t expecting too much when I ordered this dress for an upcoming cruise. I knew I wanted something warm, comfortable and easy care/non-wrinkle. The dress not only fit, but just made everything LOOK better! The knit fabric toned down/hid my weak spots, and made my curves pop! I am not wearing any special shape-wear. I originally ordered large but it was too loose. Medium fit well but I got bold and tried a small since this material has lots of stretch to it. The smaller size emphasized my belly, so no thanks! Flattering, thick and heavy fabric--perfect for a MN winter! True to size. It is going to be a go to dress all winter long. Only changes I would make is to add pockets on the seam and add an inch to the sleeve length. Two lame experiences: the dress arrived partially inside out… clearly having been tried on by someone and shoved back into the plastic bag when it didn't fit. I absolutely love this dress. The quality is really good, it is fairly thick and fits great. The reason I put 4* is because the dress I got has a white spot on the top left side. I am not sure yet if it can be washed away, but if it does, I will definitely change it to 5*. I still can wear it and maybe for others won't really be so visible, but the fact that there's this white line, looking like discolored fabric, makes me a bit uncomfortable to give the maximum number of stars. Color is as shown, & it fits perfectly. I'm 5'9" 165lbs for reference. I generally wear a large, 10/12. I really love this dress & can't wait until it's cold enough to wear. It needs to be cold because the material is quite thick & heavy. Our winter hasn't started yet where I live, but when it does this dress will be great with a nice pair of boots. Read more

I was very pleasantly surprised at the overall quality of this dress. The sweater material is thick, not flimsy or thin so it's not see-thru and I'm optimistic it will hold its shape well. I bought the coffee brown and the burgandy and decided to keep the burgandy only because it compliments my skin tone better than the brown. I'm 5'4", 153 # hourglass shape and the L fit me perfectly.
