Recommended size was XL, bought L. Still VERY oversized and would have gone down to a M. Wore for an event the following day so can’t return. Will try to wash in hot water / dryer to shrink, hopefully can improve fit. Read more

I’m all for a cute, oversized sweater, but there has got to be a way to shape them better. The pictures are always strategically done, with the front part tucked into jeans, making it look like the sweater is feminine & not boxy. This sweater, which I purchased in size small, is nothing more than one giant potato sack. There’s no ability to “tuck” this in without creating a FUPA from the excess material. It’s so unflattering that I wouldn’t even wear it as pajamas. You can’t size down because it’s still gigantic! Perhaps if the material was thinner, I could make it work, but no. The dress itself is very comfortable and I love the material, but the sizing is so off. I first ordered a large because I am 5'5 and 190lb at 5 months pregnant. The large was HUGE on me! I returned the large and got a small, and even with the small I had to wash and dry it to shrink it to actually look oversized as opposed to just too big. Now that I've shrunk it, I like it, but I definitely wouldn't go through the hassle of buying it again. Read more
