This dress was absolutely perfect for me to wear to my brothers middle of the summer, somewhat casual outdoor wedding. The light blue color was so pretty. The material is like a light weight cotton linen. The skirt did wrinkle pretty easily, but with this type of material that is kind of to be expected. The smocking really made it so the top part fit well and looked flattering. I am 5’0”, about 135-140 lbs (typically between a small and medium), with a large chest (34H) and small waist. I’m usually a small or medium depending on the style of the item. A small in this dress fit exactly how I wanted. The top hugs my body without looking or feeling too tight. I ordered a Large in the green, blue, and yellow. All the colors looked great and accurate. I'm 5' 4" 190lbs and a 34H chest. I carry most of my weight in my bottom and have wide hips. I would've sized down to a Medium, because the top seemed to have just a little extra fabric bunching, and would've given more support if it were more fitted. Even then, the large was still pretty supportive. I like that it's stretchy up top to create a custom fit for you, the bottom is loose and flowy. Overall, very flattering and pretty. The skirt material was a felt a little like paper or a rougher cotton, but wasn't uncomfortable. The only reason I didn't like the dress is, because I'm a bit of a perfectionist. The pointed part where the top meets the skirt was bumped out. It was like they didn't know how to sew that shape/small area, so the ruched fabric of the top created a small bump that stuck out off your stomach. One of the dresses was significant and one was barely noticeable, so I guess you just have to get lucky. Even the barely noticeable one bothered me though, so I returned and didn't re-order. The top was too loose on me and hit lower on my waist than the model, I’m 5’1”. The dress was cute but too loose and not form fitting on the top. The material also felt a little cheap. If they made a smaller size I would’ve tried that. Read more
