I have purchased every brand of bra imaginable in my 75+ years and was never really happy with the way they fit. I've tried padded contours, natural cups and under-wire bras, which is my preferred style. This past summer a neighbor recommended the Prima Donna Brand and warned me that it was going to be expensive but with proper care, they would last a long long time (proper care being hand-washing with a mild detergent and line drying). She says she's been wearing the same 4 Prima Donna Bras for more than 3 years. I purchased 2 of the Prima Donna Deauville Full Cup Underwire Bras and have been very satisfied with the fit, design and quality. It took a little getting used to the European sizing chart but the fit is perfect. One of the ways I learned to keep the bras lasting a long time is to alternate bras daily, airing them out between wearings and also to never spray perfume or cologne directly on the bra fabric because it weakens it, especially the lace and elastic. I recommend them especially to those who have had less than happy results with their current bras. Read more
I have worn this bra for several years. No pinching no digging; comfortable ALL DAY, even the first day. No adjustments, no squirming. Good support to keep the girls up. I wear a 34 F (clothing size L-XLP or 16 - I am only 5'1'). The Deauville is cut for someone with more narrow shoulders; so glad not to have the straps fall! I have tried store stock cheaper brands and have returned to Prima Donna Deauville. The ABSOLUTE BEST BRA! The Deauville is so comfortable for short me, but I do wish they were not so expensive. I will continue buying them- I own 7, one for each day of the week. This is my second review of this style bra over the past several years. Although they do last longer than cheaper bras, the underwire have a tendency to eventually break thru the material. This is the reason I find myself replacing them. The elastic and rest of the bras are in excellent condition after YEARS of wear. Read more
This is a beautiful bra. Well made, comfortable and supportive. However, the sizing runs more parallel to Chantelle, than Wacoal or US brands. In practical terms, that means you may need to order down one band size and up one cup size. Even with that, there's a lot of material here, so if you are petite, you may want to check out another style. Read more
I have worn Prima Donna bras since 2008. I am still wearing them. That should tell you about the quality. I was professionally fitted and take a size 32 g. The model I've been wearing had been discontinued so I gave this one a try. Fits beautifully and might be a bit more comfortable then my other bras. I know it's pricey but truly worth every penny. I will purchase again and maybe try one of the pretty colors. They wash beautifully but I never put them in the dryer. Read more
go to the web site for Prima Donna and do not go through this seller. I have purchased at least 15 of these bra's and the first time I used this seller I got a defective bra. I paid $120 dollars for a bra that has a hole in it in the back. I will never buy another one from this seller since all the other ones I have purchased from other sellers seem to be defect free but not this one Read more
Superior quality and great fit! Exactly like the bra from Chantelle that Nordstrom carried years ago. Unfortunately, price is a lot more and Nordstrom no longer carries it. Over priced!!! Read more
I bought my first PrimaDonna while in Atlanta about 7 years ago and I am still using the same bra today. I have to say that this company really thought about a large breasted woman when designing this bra. I have never encountered a brand that had such durability in ALL of its parts. I talk the town up about PrimaDonna and tell everyone that the price is totally worth it. Get one, own one, love one! Read more
