I got these pencils hoping that they are as good as marketed and I believe that they are better. Colors are rich and true. With a hundred and twenty colors to choose from and effortless blending its easier to enjoy the coloring. I also believe that they are a little more durable than my Prismas. I am really impressed with this colored pencil set. The colors are bright, rich, and blend very smoothly, which makes them easy to work with even if you are not a professional. I used them in the included sketchbook and the paper holds the pigment well without tearing or pilling. The pencils come pre-sharpened and the soft oil core lays down color beautifully for shading and gradients. The zip case is one of my favorite parts of the whole set because everything stays organized and protected instead of being tossed in a tin. It makes it easy to grab and go when I want to color in the living room or outside on the porch. I also appreciated the small tutorial it came with. These are so nice. I've been coloring on smooth matte finish paper which is heavenly. The pencils blend well and retain there sharpness longer than Prismacolors. They also sharpen well. I've been using a prismacolor sharpener with great results. They're not as soft as prismas but not hard like a lot of colored pencils. Glide smoothly and easily across the page. I love all my different pencils but these are a welcome addition and give me a peaceful, satisfying experience. They just feel good in my hand. I love that they're numbered so keeping organized in the case is simple. I like the case too. Read more
