I have had an assortment of robes over the years and i've hated almost every single one for various reasons. Either its too hot to wear (I live in Florida), its uncomfortable due to the fit, it doesn't stay tight after being tied, I have to constantly re-tie/adjust it, its not the right material for a robe, it doesn't cover much of anything, etc... WELLLL! Finally, my husband got it right! This robe is just perfect! It stays put, it fits nice (I actually feel somewhat attractive in it), Its the right length, the sleeves are 3/4 sleeves so they don't get wet when I'm in the kitchen, it has pockets, its a comfortable material that isn't too heavy but not too light either, BUT THE ABSOLUTE BEST PART IS THE TIE STRING IS ATTACHED so it can't be lost in the laundry! I almost wanna go ahead and get a few more because I know I may not find another one like this! This robe means more to me than they even realize! Last year I asked for the perfect robe! The got me one that was way too hot and thick and long past my knees and bulky and came up high and bulky around my neck and I HATED IT but i wore it because it was a gift. I'd sit there sweating and uncomfortable while they complimented how cozy i looked in it! UGH!!! NOT COZY AT ALL! Then it ended up with a hole in the sleeve and so it was my excuse to get rid of it. I really love this robe. I'm 5'5", about 150 pounds, c size bust and the medium fit me perfectly. It's thin but not too thin, soft & stretchy. I know this doesn't have a loop for hanging which is the only reason I gave it 4 stars but it was very easy to make my own loop and put it through the size tag (That's my own solution. See pictures). There's separate small strings on the inside but I don't even need to tie that, personally. I love the colors and it's not too short either. I get hot very easily so this robe is good for me to walk around in when I don't feel like getting dressed. If you're looking for a super warm, fluffy robe, this isn't it. This is definitely more of a warm weather robe but like I said, it depends on your body temperature and what you're personally comfortable in. I bought the medium in Peacock Blue. The picture shows much softer colors, more pale blue, and pink tones and rust. Wrong. It is incredibly bright and vivid and a bit psychedelic. Intense turquoise blue, blood red and some bright yellow. Not subtle at all. It is very much like the Mix Blue color. I love it! I'm not one for white and pale pastels. I think I like the colors shown in the inaccurate picture more, but I still like it as is. If you are not into brilliant bright colors, this is not for you. Very soft like jersey and very comfortable. It is quite thin, not heavy at all. I'm in Florida so I don't ever do heavy robes. Light and short and soft. This is not a winter robe. It would probably be somewhat see-through in very pale colors, but this pattern does not let anything show through. Fit was good. The media could not be loaded. I am not in love with this kind of stretchy, thin, not breathable but extremely transparent like fabric. See pictures for what I mean, I did wear T shirt and pants underneath but it is very representative how it looks without. I would be weary hanging this dress on hangers because it would probably stretch under its own weight leaving those really ugly stretches out shoulders if you know what I mean. I like fabrics that hold their shape when held, that don't stretch under own weight so much and instead like fold nicely. So I will be returning this item and looks for better fabric for me. It does fit very well, I like colors, and I like the cut. So if you know this fabric, then it's probably a good choice. Read more
