My new employer sent me a new 1080P camera, but I didn't like the fact that the new camera has such a wide viewing angle. So, I continued to use my old Logitech C270 which is 720P (plenty for Zoom meetings) and has a narrower viewing angle. The new 1080P camera had a built-in cover, but my old Logitech C270 does not have a cover. I bought this cover and it fits perfectly on my old Logitech C270 camera. It snaps on and stays in place. I like the fact that I can see the LED indicator when the cover "door" is open or closed. Other reviewers have complained about the price of this item. It appears to have been 3D-printed, so I understand that the creator spent a lot of time developing a 3D print image, and plenty of wear and tear on his/her 3D printer. I think this thing is worth the price. The sliding "door" was a little tight. I trimmed it with an X-Acto knife. Now, it works almost perfectly. It's a little tight when I slide it all the way to the left, but I think a little silicone lubricant will fix that. Overall, it's perfect for my needs. Read more

The reviews are right it is a little loose, but my camera is taped to my monitor, so not a real issue. The cover is not a carrying case it is made to cover the camera which it does. The slide covering is a bit difficult to slide back and forth, but being careful this is also not an issue. I love the fact it leaves the power indicator uncovered and the slide does not affect the microphone. The slide is designed that open or closed the microphone is left uncovered for clear audio. This cover is a ** PERFECT FIT ** for my Logitech C270 webcam! it easily snapped on the camera's face and it ain't coming off "on its' own". My only nit is the slide cover is a little "loose", but if I position it to "almost removed" it stays put (I have it positioned for "slide UP" to use cam). Otherwise, it's perfect for what it does and it's definitely more "secure" and Better-Looking than using a Post-It to cover the lens. It definitely looks more professional than a post-it covering the camera lens; plus you can see the webcam indicator light. In fact, the light is more conspicuous with the cover. This camera cover works but I only foresee this camera covering working temporarily. It covers the camera however, the fit on the camera itself is very loose . I literally had to tape the top and the bottom just so the cover would fit. Needless to say, I probably would be better off just using a piece of paper like I was doing before because the camera cover really doesn’t serve a purpose at this point because it doesn’t fit unless I use tape and it only covers the camera, even though the camera includes a speaker also. This item really should only cost $3 or $4. It fits snug over my camera which is nice. However, the slider is too thick for the track so it's impossible to keep the camera in place while you open or close the slider. I had to use an emery board to file it down thinner so that it would slide freely. I did return the first one for a replacement, but the second one was harder to slide than the first. I have a suspicion that there isn't much consistency with these. Read more
