I'm working from home at a computer and I get cold since I'm not moving around to stay warm. I needed a small space heater to just heat up my immediate area so I don't have to turn the thermostat up. I looked at so many before I decided on this one. It works perfectly and I'm extremely happy with my choice!! I didn't want a tiny one for my desk that only blew on my face. It's small, but not tiny so it takes up very little space. I wanted it to automatically adjust the heat so I'm not having to manually adjust it all the time. The temperature control knob really works for that. I've only needed to use the low setting since it's right next to me and it heats up my immediate space very quickly. I'm surprised how infrequently it has to run to keep me warm since I have an open floor plan and I'm in a corner of a large room. I was concerned that it was going to try to heat the whole room up, but it doesn't try to do that. Also, I wanted it to be very safe. I like that it has both overheat & anti-tip protection. The light on the front reminds me that it's on so I can unplug it when I'm done working. It came with a letter from the founder of Pro Breeze thanking me for my purchase and offering to extend my 1-year warranty to 2-years if I register my heater on their website within 7 days of my purchase. It was very easy to do that with no long survey or unrelated questions that you know they're going to use to sell your info to other companies. Only my name and email address. I've been using it for a week and I HIGHLY recommend this heater! Read more

edit to below comment: i think i got a dud heater the first time. not cool since it could have started a fire in my camper. but that said it was great while it worked, quiet, small size, good heat on low setting, low dialed thermostat, good design, good tip-over feature. reviews are still the best on amazon, and so i contacted the seller and they agreed to send me a replacement, which i am going to assume will work fine. the five things i was looking for in a heater: small size, a low setting of 750w, quiet, tip-over feature, and a thermostat that turns it on and off to keep it at the right temp. purchased 10.19.19. today is 11.11.19. have used this only a few times for a few minutes in less than the month i've had it. good thing i was sitting here right next to it just now, because i smelled the hot electrical burn in time. usually, the light goes off and the fan goes off when it turns itself off with the thermostat, but now the light was on and the heater was silent- the fan was not on, but the heating element was, and it was frying itself, very hot to the touch. pizzed off because i really researched and was willing to pay whatever for the best, most reliable small heater. time to start all over. It is a basic simple design that works effectively. Simple, easy to use controls, an effective safety interlock to prevent tipping accidents, and an attractive appearance. You can choose to use it in the fan only mode, or in low or high heat output. We used it to supply supplemental heat to a 130 Sq Ft. bathroom during the winter months and were delighted with it's performance. Initially, it is very quiet, especially on the low fan speed setting. Even at the high speed fan setting it is noticeable but not objectionable, After several years of service it did develop a bearing rattle, but that was not annoying enough to warrent concern. A worthwhile investment, you won't be disappointed. Read more

I buy a few Electric Ceramic Heaters a year.As they run a long time they lose some of the Heating ability as the Ceramic wears out.Usually I replace them every 18 months.I have 4 of them and keep one in each room that needs a little extra warmth.I usually buy the Lasko brand from Amazon and they are great Heaters. But wanted to try a different Heater with the safety cut off switch on the Bottom.Tried one Brand first and it was a piece of Junk.If you barely touched it that Heater would flip over. They said it would also set on Carpet and that was an out right lie. That Heater was unsafe and went into the Junk Pile after one month. So I read the reviews and bought this ProBreeze Heater.First off it does put out great Heat for sure.I always run Heaters on the low setting as I feel they are much safer that way and they still put forth a lot of Heat.Next the Safety Switch on the bottom works extremely well and cuts off immediately if knocked over or picked up.The outside feel of the Heater has a good feel to it when its picked up.It has an indention at the top backside making picking up easy to move when running a lot easier! One thing I like also is that it has a Light on the Top Front that lights up soon as its turned on and goes off when it turns off. Some Heaters have lights that stay on all the time just showing that it is plugged in only.I have let this Heater run Two days straight with no problems at all.Getting ready to buy one as a Gift and will also buy more of this Brand for my Home.As I said at the Headline this is an Awesome Heater and would recommend it very much! This Heater will set on Carpet or the Kitchen Floor Just Fine and Works Great Either Way!
