I have ordered these same Pro Grade paint brushes twice! I absolutely love them. They hold up very well. No shedding with smoothness of the ability to cut in easily. The thickness is okay but gets the job done as well as the higher price or really expensive brushes. Clean-up is a breeze! I struggle with a very expensive brush and have issues not getting completely clean or I work on it until I am wore out more than the paint job. These seem to clean up so easy with soap and water. If I have any complaints, it would be the stiffness of the brushes. In some the projects I like to do, I like a more firm brush than these. But they work great for price and how long they last! Bought these a while ago due to the low price and just let them sit. Recently, we need to fix up the rental property ready for sale. Had to recoat Minwax polyurethane for 19 cabinet doors, 2 coats. Not a single piece of bristle came off. It was smooth and held plenty of material. Washed and reused and it still held up well. Will buy another set for future use. For the price, these are as good as the fancy ones from HD and much better than those from Harbor Freight. Some of those 1-2 star reviews show the badly beaten up bristles make me wonder what they use these brushes for, lol… Read more

I picked up this 5-piece brush set for some small painting projects around the house, and overall they worked really well. The set includes a good range of brush sizes, which makes it easy to handle everything from cutting in edges to covering slightly larger areas. The bristles hold paint nicely and apply it smoothly without leaving heavy streaks. I used them with interior wall paint and they performed better than I expected for a reasonably priced brush set. They also held their shape well during use, which helps when you're trying to get clean lines along trim or corners. Another thing I liked is that the handles feel comfortable and lightweight, so they’re easy to control for longer painting sessions. Cleanup was also straightforward with soap and water, and the brushes still look good after washing. Pros: • Variety of useful brush sizes • Smooth paint application • Comfortable handles • Good value for the price Cons: • A few loose bristles at the start (common with new brushes) • Not quite professional contractor grade, but great for DIY projects Overall, this is a solid brush set for homeowners or DIY projects. If you need a variety of brushes for painting trim, walls, or small projects, this set is a great value. Read more

First , I’m not a professional just a homeowner. But I’ve painted every room in every house I’ve owned . I’ve used lots of brushes , purdy , valspar, Lowe’s and Home Depot . I bought these honestly because I wanted some throw away brushes. I had a large room to paint and it was going to take multiple days to get it done. In my experience those other brushes just don’t clean out easy or don’t hold up to cleaning very well. But the quality of these brushes , they did not shed a single bristle , they are comfortable to use and easy to clean . I’ll never buy brushes and a box store again as long as these are available. These are great brushes ESPECIALLY for the price. I’m no professional, but I do paint a house now and again and I would compare these as parallel to Purdy brand brushes that are a bit pricey. Rinse them out good after use and do the ol garbage can trick to eject the excess water that Bob Ross taught you on PBS when you were 6 and these brushes will pay for themselves and start making you money with a quickness. I'm lucky enough to have a decent sized home. The original colors of my home were quite ugly, thus I may have gotten a slightly better deal had the walls, baseboards, doors etc. been painted by a pro guided by an interior designer. That said, I've been pleasantly surprised by these brushes. Here's what I've discovered: 1) I was slightly concerned by the non-finished wood handles thinking they didn't take an extra step to paint/seal the handles and by extension the bristles may not be good. I was wrong. The natural wood handles make it much easier to grip each paint brush. 2) The bristles (I appear to be nylon or polyester) are of awesome quality. They do not shed. They stay put. The bristle tips are fine and allow for great cuts when painting - whether it is a wall to a ceiling, a baseboard, trim - you name it. They clean up nice with soap and water. FYI: I only use water soluble Latex or Acrylic paint of good quality. 3) This assortment of brushes lets me choose whichever brush will work best and fit whichever surface I am painting. They are therefore comfortable to use and fit just about any job - from small detail work to larger surfaces. For instance, I used the largest brush to paint a liquid membrane on my mortar bed shower floor. 4) Wow. What a value! If I bought a single brush at my local hardware/big box store, it would have easily been the price for this entire lot! I was so impressed with the performance of these I bought a second set worried they may not be available in the future. 5) Durability is something I never would have guessed I'd be getting at this price point. With a little TLC (clean after painting and allow to dry without letting the metal hang out in water for long periods of time) and you'll be rewarded with many, many uses for each brush. Again - I am pleasantly surprised at what I purchased here as I would historically only go to my hardware store and buy one or two brushes at a time for at least $9.00 or more each! Read more
