With long term use, this moisturizer has improved the texture and look of my skin so much. I keep coming back to this product even though I’m slightly addicted to trying other moisturizers- this is the one thing I keep coming back to and for good reason. When I first tried this product I can honestly say I wasn’t too impressed. In fact, I remember it feeling off and my skin not agreeing with it. I decided to give it another try a few months later and maybe it was a change in my skin routine, or waiting until my face was completely dry but the product worked out much better for me. The green tint is NOT “concealing” however it does help calm the redness even if slight. My skin almost immediately looks less red and not because it’s being concealed… but because it feels calmer. It is cooling on the skin. I do think the green tint helps but this is not makeup and is not advertised as such. It is a skincare product. That’s actually what I love about it- it reduces redness naturally over a length of time and use, it’s not “concealing” anything temporarily. Not just the redness but my skin texture has significantly improved as well. I’ve had people who’ve known me for years compliment my skin and tell me how smooth it appears and how great my skin looks while this was in my daily regimen. Which brings me to a final point of the only complaint I have is that this product used to be available at CVS in the first aid section. I have looked time and time again for over a year and sure enough, apparently it’s not sold in stores anymore? I see the bruise one but there’s actually no section for this exact product any longer. I have looked at the price tags on the shelves in desperation and it no longer exists. I am grateful and happy that I’m able to order this through Amazon, but it’s disappointing I can’t just pick it up in person anymore. I temporarily used la roche posay green tinted moisturizer.. forgot the name but it was nothing in comparison to how this Rosacare makes my skin appear and feel. So I have severe rosecea, predominantly on my face and elbows. Without any product on my skin, it's gets irritated, dry, and sometimes flakes of dead skin. I have tried many creams and or products claiming to be for rosecea, and they make my skin more irritated or they do not work at all. I have tried this for 4 months so far, and this has been the best that's worked for my rosecea skin. I use it with the serum as well and my skin has improved some. I still have some redness in my severe areas like nose and upper cheek, buts it's triggered by sweat, salt and sunlight. It's about a 60 percent in skin clearance. Less irration. I have rosacea which has been controlled by antibiotics. I am currently in maintenance with standard treatment for rosacea ( metro gel, azaleic acid and ivermectin) in a topical cream. I applied this product and immediately felt a slightly warming sensation, which was not necessarily pleasant. My cheeks and nose started to tingle and I noticed that I was much much “ruddier” than before. Ended up just using it for my neck where it did not cause any issues. Pros: no scent, nice texture, did not irritate my neck, great price point. Cons: made my facial redness worse and irritated my rosacea. One thing to note is that redness on the skin could be caused by many many issues and it is not always rosacea. Weather, sun exposure, etc could cause skin irritations and this product might be good for those. In the end the only way to know if it works is to try it out. But, personally I would recomendable to stick to a simple routine of very gentle cleansing, using a moisturizer that will help your skin barrier, and using sunscreen religiously along with whatever your dermatologist has given you. Amazingly helpful at calming and moisturizing during my latest Rosacea flare. I don't often write reviews, but this product was so helpful. I used it several times a day and it really calmed my skin, without drying it out, like my Rx cream does. It's difficult to calm the skin and keeping it from drying out, which also exacerbates the flare. I highly recommend trying it for any one suffering from Rosacea. Read more
