I am 6'3" and weigh 265. This vest fit me, which is great. My wife has yet to use it but I think she will like it too. First time I have bought one. I really like it. Comfortable to wear. Have been wearing this weighted vest for over a month on a daily basis when walking. It’s been holding up and the Velcro closures are easy to use and stay closed. I bought this to help strengthen my back after back surgery in May of this year. I’ve added 2lbs so far. Will continue using and have recommended this vest to several walkers. UPDATE: been using for 5 months and noticed that my t-shirts are being rubbed by binging on the vest and have holes. On closer examination, the hook part of velcro has been working its way through the binding and has been rubbing the t-shirts to the point that the fabric is wearing away. Very disappointed because it’s past the return date and relates to poor manufacturing (either the hooks need to be trimmed before the binding is applied or stronger binding should be used. This is a great weighted vest that help improve your fitness, burn more calories, and increase resistance in your workouts. However, my main form of exercise is walking - 3-5 mile walks a day. To make these walks more effective, I decided to invest in a weighted vest. I looked at a lot and finally settled on this one. I like that the sandbags are easy to add or remove allowing for a wide range of weights so that I can gradually increase the weight I am carrying rather than starting too high and risking injury. The wide, padded shoulders allow for a more comfortable wear. It also has an easily adjustable velcro waist as well as a chest strap for a customizable fit that should be able to accommodate most people. Additionally, it includes reflective strips so you are more visible in low lighting, a zippered pocket and a removable arm bag if you need to carry more than will fit in the pocket. The mesh pocket for phone keys is nice but you can’t really access anything in it when it’s behind your back. I’ve ordered two and neither one came with the neoprene pouch to hold your phone and keys like the photo description. It’s a bit bulky I wish I’d have ordered the kind with plates. Read more
