My daughter really likes these boots. She says they are stylish, especially the square toe, and a good height up her calf. The heels are a little much for her, but that's not the boot's fault! The material doesn't appear to be leather (at least we couldn't confirm it), but it sure is a good imitation if so - the quality seems really good. Other than the heel height, she says they are comfortable. The only issue is my daughter wears an 8 or an 8.5, so I got her size 8.5 and she said the felt a bit bigger than other 8.5 size shoes she wears. Sadly, out of the box there was an issue: the interior sole on the right boot wasn’t attached/ glued properly- so there was a significant ridge on the insole- which meant the small nails that attach the heel to the shoe could be seen- and felt. I say sad, because they actually fit beautifully and were super nice looking, but that poor construction was a huge red flag, especially because these were brand new, never been worn before me.(you can always tell- the wrapping was pristine) So my search for the perfect black bootie continues… I am so disappointed, because these would have been perfect!!
