Solid feel, very quiet compared to my whal which is going onto trash after years of good service. This baby is very smooth. I am using it at 6500rpm, and cuts my hair very even, no pulling, just even. I wish I would have purchased it sooner. It pays for itself after 1-2 hair cuts. I plan on using it weekly to keep hair cuts looking just cut. The guards are nice with molded numbering into the plastic. Comes with a cleaning brush and some oil. Will update on battery life after a few weeks of use. At this price if you are looking just get it. Not many things nowadays that are purchased and make you glad you bought it. So I have tried various brands of clippers and while they all get the job done some are just better than others. These are the best I have tried so far with one exception. The guides for these are for lack of a better term sharp. No they didn't actually cut me but I felt like I had been mauled by cats after doing a buzz cut. Fortunately they are a standard size so after my cut I tested it out and sure enough the guides from my previous clippers fit just fine so going forward I will use them. Had the guides been better quality this would have been the easiest 5 star review I have made. One thing I found particularly awesome is their weight. For a battery powered device they are deceptively light which while not critical sure does help so your hands don't fatigue as quickly during use. I don't think I will ever find out the battery life since they have a charger dock so after my one cut I will just sit them on the dock until I use them again in 2-3 weeks. Noise level was fine.
