These are very good quality solid nail files. They are 180/240 grit. They are approximately 7 inches long and close to an inch wide at the widest part. They file my nails with ease. Will buy again. Read more

I use this file on my natural nails and it has been a good combination of gentle and course. This grit is definitely for natural nails. I’ve used one about 3x a week for a month now. I rinse it after each use. I gently file my entire nail only when necessary. I take vitamins for stronger nails. Not sure how this would be on brittle nails. The hair, nail, skin supplement has definitely boosted my nails transforming them from weak to strong. Also, proper diet is key. After a months use I think it has lost most of its grit so I’ll probably swap it soon. Read more

I sought out an 80 grit nail file since the higher grits are flimsy and of poor quality and I could not find a good file in any local store. Most people have a change in their toenails when we become older due to a shift in the structure of our bodies. This has been the 'best' file I have 'ever' purchased. The military shoes are a 'one size fits all'. This is not true, so I started having issues with ingrown toenails and hammertoes. The military just kept removing the nail over the over (government abuse). As I became older, I had to seek out a podiatrist to permanently remove one of my big toenails. He said I would need surgery from the damages done by military shoes. This file has been a great blessing for me. The grit on these files are sturdy for any toenail and will last a long time. The only thing one must be careful not to file too closely to the skin or file too fast as this could break the skin. Outside of this, I highly recommend this file. Read more
I watched a million videos on YouTube and learned how to do my own nails using acrylic and monomer. I had a pretty healthy stash of files prior, but none as hard as the 80/80. It really is perfect to shape acrylic and or fake nails. Once I’ve got the monomer dried and set, I use the 80/80 file on both sides of my nail bed, against the cuticle. Flawless. You will definitely need a finer grit to smooth. Read more
