Pros: Initially durability and quality are good. The slippers are well-stitched with the suede and shearling appearing high-quality. The shearling is soft and adds warmth but did not feel too hot in the winter. The sole is non-slip and appears high-quality. The taupe colour is rich and matched my personal style. The slippers appear initially to be a good value when comparing the quality and materials. Neutral: The memory foam feels "squishy and airy" and does not feel like high-quality memory foam. Time will decide durability of the memory foam. The slippers lack arch support, but this is not an issue if you are not standing a lot in them. I bought half a size bigger because I have naturally wider feet. The thickness of the shearling wool reduces the overall size of the slipper and make decrease the toe box space, but I would say they are true to fit (with regular usage the shearling will flatten against the leather and the suede may stretch, which may increase slipper comfort). The sole appears to be glued to the upper not stitched, which may reduce durability. The slippers may not be appropriate for the summer season, as it is shearling lined. The shearling flattened to the sole after a few wears, which may indicate accelerated wear. Cons: The slippers are not water resistant as represented in the manufacturer's video. When water was accidently dripped onto the suede, they immediately absorbed the water. I do not believe that these slippers are washable, as I did not find manufacturer cleaning instructions. At the beginning, I wasn't sure if I would be keeping the slippers due to their cut that was not comfortable out of the box. Now, after a month of use, I give them five stars. The slippers are warm and cozy, the quality is fine for the price. Overall, great slippers. Read more

For the most part I like the slippers. They are warm, are well constructed, and are a good value for the money. The insides are soft and comfortable as well. My only criticism is that I generally wear a 9 but sized up to a 9.5 when I initially ordered them after reading some reviews. The first pair of slippers fit more like an 8.5, so I when I did my exchange I ordered a size 10.5. Sizing up to a 10.5 was overall a good way to go, but there was still some initial discomfort on the top edge of the slipper. Fortunately, they have broken in some and the discomfort has subsided. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase. My recommendation to future buyers is that you should size up at least 1 whole size from what you normally wear. If you have a wide food and/or the top of your foot is higher than average go with a size and a half larger. Read more

The hubby often comments on the comfort of these slippers and how they are the “best he’s ever received” - I’m a sucker for natural fibers so these were exactly what I was looking for. Absolutely unacceptable. These have a very thick , completely rigid unbending thick sole - must be more than 1/2 inch thick - which renders them unwearable if you are looking for comfy slippers. I tried only one on just to be sure and didn't bother with the other because these are basically Herman Munster shoes. They don't even call them slippers on the packaging - they call them "HOUSE SHOES" which is closer to the truth because they're only good for wearing if you live in a house at 1313 Mockingbird Lane! They are very well made right up to the point that they just don't work. They sort of serve the purpose for which I purchased them but in spite of a wonderful, safe non-slip sole they feel squishy when I walk. The unfortunate placement of the tag right under the hill gives you the Sensation that you're walking out of the slippers. Although they work I think the sizes run a bit on the small side.
