Warm and Comfy
These are actually like walking on clouds, there's so much squishy cushion in each step. The cushion is most noticeable in the heel, but if I roll forward to the ball of my foot, I can feel it there too. But because they're so squishy (like walking on a cloud- or a memory foam bed), there's not a lot of support, so if you need support for your arches, these might not work for you. And with this much squish, I worry about the durability and rebound of how long they will stay so cushioned, but at this price point, I think it's worth it. They are definitely a narrower fit at the transition from the sued to the rubber. Mine were quite tight the first time I tried them on, but then after a day of wear, they stretched a touch to my foot. They do have a thick sole so they add about an inch of height. The fur lining is only on the inside of where you can see it on the outside (about 2 inches down from the ankle). The rest of the shoe has a soft but more durable lining, but you definitely need a warm sock under them because the toe box would be really cold under the rubber in cold conditions. But your feet will stay dry! I don't know how well the fur part would do in a downpour or walking through deep puddles, but for most adults they will likely be just fine. There's a good amount of grip on the role, so I think these will work really well to keep good footing in any condition. They look really cute if this is your style, but they also have the look of a knock-off. I will wear these a ton for winter errands and school drop-off/pick-up, but for days when I am going for style and waterproof, I'll probably still grab my Sorel Out N Abouts.
