Where was Project Reef when I was a kid? I’ve always loved the outdoors. Thank god they finally found a way to make mineral sunscreen in a spray! This spray is much different then anything else you have used before, the product goes on your skin in clumps which you then rub around to spread the product. It is a lot less messy then the old school sprays and the zinc is much safer for our bodies and the environment. The smell is neutral, albeit a little bit coconut or tropical but nothing too strong. I’m writing this review to beg that you restock this item!!!! Let me tell you why: This is the best mineral sunscreen I’ve owned. It smells like vanilla, not chemicals; it’s in a recyclable aluminum can; it is Not aerosol—when you spray it, it sprays out in a perfect clump, so you don’t lose any product in the process and then you rub it into your skin like a regular lotion, and you also won’t breathe in particles. THIS IS ZINC OXIDE SO IT WILL LEAVE A WHITE CAST NO MATTER WHAT. I DO NOT MIND since I have pale skin, and I choose to exclusively use mineral sunscreens because I can see where I am actually applying it, and it is much better for my sensitive skin!!! After applying, the lotion feels hydrating and totally water resistant. The first time I used it I applied to my arms and face and went outside in extreme UV for an hour and the performance was perfect, no burns or tanning! So please, I love this sunscreen and I don’t want to buy the plastic lotion tube with different ingredients that I don’t know if my skin will respond well to. Read more

I bought this because the reviews made it sound great, but I was very disappointed. As far as I can tell, it worked, but it sprays a thick, white cream and does not mist at all. And in order to keep it from looking white on your skin, you need a very thin layer that you have to rub in for a very long time. Read more
