I'm very pleased with the quality and style of these black leather boots. The leather is quite nice, the zippers work smoothly, the soles and heels are not too clunky, and the buckle strap at the ankle adds the right amount of chic. The 7.5WW I received fit my wide feet perfectly, and even had enough room to accommodate my orthotics, a real plus for me. They're also affordably priced. Unfortunately, the top of the shaft of each boot right below the knee is much too large for my calf, even though I ordered regular calf boots, not the wide calf version. With more than an inch of space gaping between each boot's shank and the outside of my leg, these boots will not work well under the gaucho pants and longer slim skirts that I bought the boots to wear with. I decided to return them, even though these boots are the closest I've come in several years of searching to find a decent pair of leather boots that fit me properly. I wish that boot manufacturers would consider that some women with extra wide feet still can have slim calves. Read more

I bought the black and brown pairs for my wife. She says both pairs are very comfortable. The stitching is not quite the same with the two pairs, and the boxes and packaging was different. One pair was from China and one from Vietnam. They both fit the same, however. If she decides she wants this boot in gray (or another color if offered), I would gladly buy them in that color! I love the boots, but they definitely run small. They are short in length and narrow and width. I normally can walk out of a store in a size 9 medium, so I ordered the nines. They were too small. I sent them back and got 9 1/2s. They were also too small. I returned them and got size 10. The tens fit, but I could probably actually have used a 10 wide. I am keeping the tens because they are comfortable enough and to be honest, I was tired of having to return them. I would definitely size up on these boots. Read more
